We are inspired by the positive characteristics of bamboo and its many uses. 

Simple Designs. We strive to keep it clean. Located in Minneapolis Minnesota, bmbu works to produce products which take advantage of the many forms that the environementally friendly fiber -- bamboo -- offers us.

Once design work is completed, we produce products in house as well as hire suitable craftsmen domestically and abroad. We aim to uphold ethical standards both in terms of bamboo cultivation & working conditions during production. The end goal, of course, being a consistently high quality, sustainable, and safe lifestyle product.

Our aim is to produce earth friendly, uniquely styled, attractive products which can replace many of the things you already use. For starters, a simple toothbrush. In the next year we will be producing a variety of goods to compliment your lifestyle

Deep Cleaning Toothbrush -- Form doesn't mean much without function. Our formed brush fits the hand well, and the shaped bristles give a deep clean, in turn providing uniquely high-end functionality.

From nature to you, then back to a form that nature can accept. Our bamboo brush handle & packaging are both compostable. To provide a lasting bristle, we use nylon. Simply pull the bristles out with a pliers when your brush has exceeded its lifecycle and recycle them.

Bamboo is natures fiber. We hear this all the time, but it's true. Bamboo is technically a grass fiber. As such, it grows fast --very fast. This makes bamboo an ideal - sustainable - material for making things such as home goods & furniture.

Our toothbrush's handle is made from 100% naturally grown bamboo. The bamboo is cut to size, then shaped by hand. Each brush has its own unique character, but the quality of build is consistent.

We kept the design clean and simple with our logo and packaging. 

Our bamboo handle's graphics are etched using a laser -- essentially branding the surface.

 The packaging itself is made from 100% recycled materials and is, itself, 100% recyclable. 

Go green. Our mint green colored bristles have a fresh look. Made from Dupont Nylon, these bristles clean extremely well and hold up. After experimenting with different bristle shapes, we've found that a concave shape which hugs ones teeth provides an exceptional clean between teeth, without wearing out tooth enamel.
